Six parliamentary secretaries sworn in Gujarat

Six Gujarat MLAs were today sworn in as Parliamentary Secretaries. They will enjoy the status of a Deputy Minister.

Six Gujarat MLAs were today sworn in as Parliamentary Secretaries. They will enjoy the status of a Deputy Minister. The Parliamentary Secretaries,who were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Chief Minister Narendra Modi at a function in Gandhinagar,are Yogesh Patel,Harshad Vasava,Ishwar Patel,Sundersinh Chauhan,L T Rajani and Jaydrathsinh Parmar.

They have also been allocated departments. Ishwar Patel has been allotted Cooperative,Youth,Sports and Culture departments,while Vasava has been given charge of the Tribal Development department.

Yogesh Patel has got the Pilgrimage and Temple Development department,while Chauhan will look after Panchayat department. Food and Civil Supplies has been allotted to Parmar and Water Supply department to Ranjani.
