Resolutions laud CM for Gujarat story of last decade

Two of the four resolutions tabled at the BJP meet congratulated the Narendra Modi government for its “remarkable overall success in last 10 years” and the “agriculture growth story” of the state since Modi became the chief minister.

Two of the four resolutions tabled at the BJP meet congratulated the Narendra Modi government for its “remarkable overall success in last 10 years” and the “agriculture growth story” of the state since Modi became the chief minister.

The third,“criticising UPA government for injustice to the Narendra Modi government”,is also about praising Modi’s leadership and how the central government has been trying to stop the growth story of Gujarat during his reign.

The fourth resolution is on “criticizing the UPA government for inflation”.

All state BJP’s office-bearers,including district unit presidents and ministers,met on Friday at Atmiya College auditorium and put down the four agendas for the discussion. At the end of the meet,these resolutions will be passed.

“This is an important meet. First,it is happening in Rajkot after a decade. Secondly,with elections round the corner,a lot of discussions will be about our strategy,” said BJP general secretary Vijay Rupani.

“There will be two resolutions congratulating the Narendra Modi government. One is on how the overall success of the state under the Narendra Modi government has elevated its stature on international platform. The second talks about the remarkable agriculture growth story of the state,” said state BJP spokesperson Indravijaysinh Jadeja.

Senior leaders said the strategy to increase the party’s membership,both at primary and active level,would also be discussed.

At present,BJP has some 25 lakh primary and 84,000 active members in the state.
