Following directions by a local court,the Jammu police will probe into the allegations that three children,who died under mysterious circumstances,were buried at Asarams ashram near Bhagwati Nagar area here. We will probe the allegations of burial of children at the ashram here, SSP (Jammu) Atul Goel said on Monday.
A local court had directed the police on Saturday to probe into the allegations of Bhola Nath,a former caretaker of Asarams Jammu ashram,that the children,who died under mysterious circumstances,were buried in the complex. Nath had levelled these allegations while talking to a TV channel about two weeks ago. The court had passed the order on a petition filed by social activist Raj Kumar.
Pak firing on Indian vessel: Envoy summoned
The Union government on Monday summoned Pakistans Deputy High Commissioner Mansoor Ahmed Khan to lodge a strong protest over the firing by Pakistans Maritime Security Agency on an Indian fishing vessel off the coast of Gujarat on Friday. One fisherman was killed in the incident. Ministry of External Affairs Joint Secretary (Pakistan) summoned Khan and conveyed to him that India strongly condemned the incident of indiscriminate firing on unarmed Indian fishermen and also called for a probe.
