Passenger advisory issued at Ahmedabad airport due to conflict in the Middle East
An airport spokesperson told The Indian Express, “As the situation is evolving, we would suggest passengers refer to our airport or airline website for flight status”
The advisory stated, “Due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East, flight operations from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport have been impacted (Express File) Hours after several countries in the Middle East shut their airspace in light of Iran’s attack on US bases in neighbouring countries, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad issued an advisory for prospective passengers on Monday.
The advisory stated, “Due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East, flight operations from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport have been impacted. Passengers are requested to check with their respective airlines on the status of their flights before arriving at the airport. We appreciate your cooperation.”
