BJP leader Sanjay Joshi, who visited Dadra and Nagar Havelis capital Silvassa on Sunday, has ruled out the possibility of quitting the party as being suggested from various quarters. Dal mere dil mein hai (the party is in my heart), said the bete noire of Narendra Modi when asked if he was still in the BJP,adding he was doing his part of responsibility in the party.
Joshi visited Silvassa to attend the Union Territorys independence day celebrations organised by the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Seva Samiti,a local RSS outfit. The visit comes a couple of months after he was not allowed to pass from Gujarat while going to Delhi from Mumbai allegedly at the instance of Modi.
He said he had closed-door meetings with his supporters. I met former MP Manibhai Chaudhary in Valsad and other old associates. I will go back to Delhi from Vapi by August Kranti Express, Joshi said over the phone.
