The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) has seized two fishing boats and detained five Indian fishermen from the international waters near Jakhau off the Kutch coast,secretary of the national fishermens forum said on Wednesday.
Three boats belonging to fishermen from Gujarat were intercepted by PMSA yesterday late night. They arrested five fishermen and seized two fishing boats Shivkrupa and Dev Krupa,Secretary,National Fishermens Forum,Manish Lodhari said.
They let go the third boat with 12 fishermen,Lodhari said,adding that they were not detained as they were either too old or too young.
The third boat reached Porbandar in the morning and the fishermen informed officials about the incident.

He added that they have informed the Coast Guard and local authorities about the matter. Earlier on October 5,PMSA had apprehended five Indian fisherman and seized one boat.
