Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India holds first-ever conference in Surat
Over 500 gynaecologists from different states participated in the event.

(File/ Representational) The three-day national conference of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) was hosted for the first time in Surat between July 5 and 7 at a hotel in the city. Over 500 gynaecologists from different states participated in the event.

Giving more information about the conference, Dr Praful Doshi, president of the Surat chapter of the FOGSI, said, “In the field of medical science, new developments and experiments are taking place every day so that the patients can be treated quickly and without defects. The main objective of a national conference to be held in Surat is to provide in-depth information about the modern technology-based scientific methods useful in the treatment of gynaecological diseases.”
