Nigerian held in fake dollar printing scam

A Nigerian national was arrested by the Rajkot police for his alleged involvement in a fake dollar printing scam in the city on Tuesday.

A Nigerian national was arrested by the Rajkot police for his alleged involvement in a fake dollar printing scam in the city on Tuesday.

The accused reportedly abandoned his bag which contained bundles of white and black papers,ink and a guide book on how to print fake dollars,behind ST bus stand in Rajkot.

According to the police,the auto-driver who dropped him at a railway station after he abandoned the bag,went back and handed the bag over to the police.

Soon after,the police traced the accused at the Ahmedabad railway station on his way to Mumbai. Rajkot police alerted the railway police and the man was arrested.

Two months back,a Nigerian national was arrested with fake US currency from Una in Junagadh district after a local had alleged that the accused had duped him.
