Naresh Patel, chairman of Shree Khodaldham Trust (SKT), and one of the leading industrialists of Rajkot, rued the fact that closed-door discussions among leaders of Patiar community were getting leaked.

Responding to allegations that Nilesh Kumbhani, an SKT functionary, had not supported former minister and BJP MLA Jayesh Radadiya in recent election to IFFCO, Patel told the media on his 60th birthday on Thursday that SKT was not against fellow Patidar leader Radadiya and had always stood by him.

However, the SKT chairman added that he was disappointed by discussions “among family members” getting leaked and that, he said, was against Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s advice.
