Murder accused killed in court

A murder accused was stabbed to death in the Lalpur court premises in Jamnagar district on Wednesday by a 52-year-old man whose son was murdered early this year.

Jamnagar police said Sultan Osman(30),a resident of Lalpur taluka who was lodged in the Rajkot district jail,was taken to the court for hearing of the murder case. When they reached the court,Yusuf Sama,also a resident of Lalpur,stabbed him in the abdomen.

While Sama was arrested,injured Osman was shifted to a hospital where he died.

Police said Osman and with three others had allegedly stabbed to death Sama’s son a couple of months ago.
