For three days from Thursday, over 15,000 students of Saurashtra University are attending a special lecture on values and righteous conduct by Kathakar Morari Bapu.
This has been touted as the first of its kind experiment by any educational institute in the country.
Titled Yuvakatha, the lecture is not based on any religion or scripture.
The SU authorities have said the emphasis is on righteous conduct at a time, which is marked by terrorism, violence and corruption.

At a huge pandal put up at the sports complex in SU,Yuva Katha was inaugurated on Thursday afternoon. Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be chief guest on Friday.
SU registrar Gajendra Jani said: We are passing through a turbulent time and the youth must be shown a righteous path.
The youth can be easily distracted by negative elements like terrorism, violence and corruption prevailing in society. The aim here is to impart value-based education, which cannot be learnt from text books. Not every student can go and fight at the border, but they must be taught how they can contribute to the nation building as an individual.
Vice-chancellors from other universities have also been invited.
The university authorities believe that Morari Bapu, who just added a feather to his cap by organising the World Religions Dialogues and Symphony with the Dalai Lama by his side,is the best choice when it comes to teaching spiritualism, nationalism and an individuals duties.
They said Morari Bapu has an appeal among the youth, which is rare in the case of many spiritual leaders.
Unlike most spiritual leaders,Morari Bapus normal lifestyle easily connects him to others, including youths.
