Rajkot:A 55-year-old businessman from Jamnagar died of swine flu in a private hospital here on Tuesday morning.
Naresh Shah was admitted to Sterling Hospital on June 29 with swine flu symptoms like a high fever and cough. His blood was tested positive for the deadly H1N1 virus,according to hospital sources. This is the second swine flu death reported from the city in the last three months. A 52-year-old man had succumbed to the disease at the Rajkot Civil Hospital.
Four injured in bus accident
Ahmedabad:Four persons including a child were injured in a bus accident here on Tuesday. The driver reportedly lost control over the bus and entered into a parking lot of a complex in Isanpur area of the city. The bus hit an auto-rickshaw and then a bicycle and two bikes. The bus was plying on route number 201 when the accident occurred. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The police have lodged a case of negligence against the driver and started further investigation.
