Gujarat Tourism is organising two photography contests, inviting enthusiasts to showcase the beauty of the state through their unique perspectives. Kicked off on November 19, these contests will conclude on November 24.
The first contest, titled “Hidden Gems of Gujarat – Gujarat Tourism 2025 Calendar,” encourages participants to explore the state’s uncharted wonders, said a press release by the tourism department.
The second contest, “Gujarat: A Bird’s-Eye View,” challenges participants to look at the state from an entirely new perspective — through the lens of a drone, the release added.
Aimed at capturing the state’s iconic landmarks, bustling cities, and natural beauty from above, this contest promises to present Gujarat in a way it has never been seen before.
By showcasing aerial photography, the contest seeks to highlight the state’s grandeur and charm from an elevated vantage point, stated the press release. Both contests offer participants the unique opportunity to have their winning photographs featured in the Gujarat Tourism 2025 Calendar, a platform that celebrates the state’s rich visual narrative, it added.
Winners will also have the opportunity to get their work showcased across Gujarat Tourism’s official social media channels. This initiative by Gujarat Tourism not only offers a platform for budding and seasoned photographers but also celebrates the visual splendour of the state in all its forms, according to the press release.
