A trustee of the school told The Indian Express, “We are clueless as to what happened. She went to the fourth floor and jumped. We are searching for possible reasons.”

On Friday, the police noted down statements of teachers and the school management, and are expected to return to the campus on Monday to record statements of her friends.

The trustee said, “As per the medical certificate submitted by her mother, the girl was under depression and had been on a leave for a month until around 10 days ago. She had been coming to the school regularly since.”
