Gujarat hospital wins award for health care

The Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital in Nadiad has won the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Trophy 2011 in the health care category.

The Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital (MPUH) in Nadiad has won the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Trophy 2011 in the health care category. The award will be given away in Mumbai following the conclusion of the ‘Making Quality Happen Conference’ in March,2012.

The IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards are modelled along the lines of the Malcolm Baldrige criteria of the USA and follow a rigorous process of training and evaluation. Dr. Mahesh Desai,Medical Director,Department of Urology,MPUH said the process of examination was long and a team of doctors visited Mumbai. The team made a presentation in front of a four-members panel.
