Indigo Airlines on Thursday launched its first direct flight to Ayodhya from Ahmedabad, which took off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 9.10 am.
Several pictures of men and women dressed up as Lord Ram, Laxman, Hanuman and Sita at the airport were shared on social media before the flight took off.

The flight will land directly at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya.
