Entry fee for Sabarmati garden from Nov 11

The entry fee for the newly inaugurated Sabarmati Riverfront Garden will be implemented from November 11. Despite opposition after the proposal had already received a nod from Standing Committee and Project Committee of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation,it was recently approved by the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited. “The proposal has been duly approved from required AMC committees including SRFDCL,” said Deepak Trivedi,General Manager (Admin,Finance and Operations) at SRFDCL. On entry fee for the second riverfront garden at Usmanpura,inaugurated on the same day,Trivedi said that there is no proposal yet in this regard. These two gardens were developed at a total cost of over Rs 18 crore.
