Eight people from Bangladesh have been arrested for illegally staying in Surat for over five years, police said Monday.

He added, “The accused have been linked to prostitution activities. Such illegal immigrants reach the Satkhira and Jossore borders of Bangladesh and illegally enter the Bangoan border of West Bengal. They are lured with jobs with good salaries by human traffickers, but once they land in Surat, they have to work against their wish.”
