Dress material worth Rs 2.5 lakh stolen

Thieves entered a dress material shop in the city on Friday and made away with valuables worth Rs 2.53 lakh. In his complaint,the owner of the shop Pinal Sheth,stated that miscreants broke shutters of his shop open and escaped with dress material worth Rs 50,000. They also took away silk and net Chaniya Choli worth Rs1.5 lakh. The robbers also ran away with saris worth Rs 50,000 and a mobile phone. Sayajigunj police is investigating the case.
