(Representational Image)Come January, Kaushalya-The Skill University will launch nine advanced courses in drone applications to train over 5,000 youth. The public varsity is located at Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute in Ahmedabad.
The university has launched two advanced postgraduate programmes in drone manufacturing and drone programming. These include a postgraduate diploma in drone manufacturing and programming (1 year) and a postgraduate (MSc) in drone manufacturing and programming (2 years).

So far, 292 candidates have completed the drone pilot course, with an additional 25 currently undergoing training. In drone manufacturing and assembly, training has been concluded for 765 candidates, and training for 50 candidates has begun. Youth in all 33 districts of the state are currently undergoing training in drone manufacturing and assembly through ITIs.
The varsity is also introducing the I-KUSHAL Incubation and Innovation Foundation, aiming to foster innovation, research, and development, and provide supportive guidance to startups and entrepreneurs.
