Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel Sunday launched the state-wide polio vaccination drive from the Community Hall at Ministers’ enclave in Gandhinagar.
The state health department has planned to cover more than 83 lakh children in the 0-5 years age group during the drive. Around 1.33 lakh health employees will administer polio drops to children at 33,489 booths across the state.
On June 24 and 25, the health workers will go door to door to administer the polio drops to children
The CM was also joined by Health Secretary Dhananjay Dwivedi and Gandhinagar Mayor Miraben Patel.
