CISF jawan’s wife accuses his colleague of rape, alleges threat to life

A 30-year-old woman, who is the wife of a CISF jawan in Surat, filed a rape complaint against her husband’s colleague on Friday evening. She also alleged a threat to her life from the accused, the police said.
Vesu police station inspector MC Vala said, “We have registered a complaint of rape on the basis of statements given by the woman. The accused and the woman’s husband are working in the same company and the accused used to come to her house in her husband’s absence and threaten her. We have carried out a medical examination of the woman. The accused will be arrested soon.”

The accused, who is from Haryana, is married and has two children, said police.
In her complaint, the woman mentioned the accused frequently came to her house in the last few months when her husband was on night duty.
The woman alleged she was threatened by the accused to have a physical relationship with him. When she refused, the accused allegedly raped her when her husband was away at work. She was also thrashed by the accused, she told police, following an argument.
