B Tech: NSUI protests delay in GTU results

National Students Union of Indian (NSUI) on Tuesday held a demonstration outside the offices of the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) to protest the delay in declaration of results for the first semester students of engineering colleges in the state.

National Students Union of Indian (NSUI) on Tuesday held a demonstration outside the offices of the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) to protest the delay in declaration of results for the first semester students of engineering colleges in the state.

According to NSUI state president Gulabsinh Rajput and Ahmedabad city president Vishwanathsinh Vaghela,the results of about 40,000 students are pending for the last three months.

A total of over three lakh students are studying in various engineering,pharmacy,diploma and managements courses in hundreds of colleges under the GTU.

When contacted,GTU registrar G P Vadodaria said the results were almost complete and would be declared in a day or two.
