Ahmedabad cops struggle to find address of abandoned boy

The Ahmedabad district police are struggling to find the parents of a 12-year-old boy who was found abandoned at Aslali this week.

The Ahmedabad district police are struggling to find the parents of a 12-year-old boy who was found abandoned at Aslali this week. The boy is said to be of Bihar’s Jamui district but police are clueless about his exact address.

According to the Aslali police,the boy,Sachidanand B Kurmi,was abandoned by a truck driver near a toll tax plaza. Police were informed by tax officials after they found the boy lost in the area.

Police said the boy claimed he was working as a cleaner in the truck and had reached Ahmedabad from Odisha.

“He is not able to give his exact address. We somehow managed to find out that he is basically from Jamui district. He also gave us an address but we could not trace it,” said a police officer. He said that for the time being the boy has been sent to a juvenile home.
