Ahmd-Mumbai Duronto train

The Ahmedabad- Mumbai Duronto Express will be launched on Thursday,Ahmedabad Divisional Railway Manager Ashok Garud said in a release on Tuesday.

Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan will inaugurate the train from Mumbai at 2 pm. It will reach Ahmedabad at 8.40 pm,where a Group D staff member will flag it off at 11.40 pm the same day. The train will reach Mumbai at 6.15 am the next day.

Train No 2268 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Super Fast Duronto Express will leave Ahmedabad on Sunday,Tuesday and Thursday. Train No 2267 will leave Mumbai on Monday,Wednesday and Friday at 11.15 pm. The train has three first AC ,three second AC,four third AC coaches,and five economy third AC coaches besides two van coaches. The fares will be less than the Shatabdi Express,Garud said.
