Revenue Minister Anandiben Patel will inaugurate nine new bus routes of Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) on Monday. The inauguration will begin from 8 am to 12 noon. The routes have been chosen to give commuters an opportunity to approach the Bus Rapid Transit Service,according to transport committee chairman Babubhai Zadaphia.
Besides Patel,BJP spokesperson I K Jadeja,MPs Kirit Solanki and Harin Pathak,12 BJP MLAs,city mayor Minaxiben Patel,among others,will also attend the event.
The first inauguration will be at Vadaj terminus where the Revenue Minister will launch route number 80/1. At around 9 am,the team will reach Naroda terminus to launch route number 110. Route number 130/4 will be inaugurated at around 9.30 am. Route number 147/2 will be launched at around 10.30 am from Sundaram Avas Yojna (Vastral). Route number 160/1 will be inaugurated next at Maninagar. Route number 30/2 will be opened at the Vatva Railway Crossing at round 11.30 am. At 12 noon,the team will inaugurate route number 30/3 at Danilimda.
