Eight persons were injured when a hot air balloon,a new attraction at the annual Rann Utsav this year,burst soon after take-off in Dhordo village of Kutch district,police said.
The incident occurred a few meters above the ground and the people travelling in it came crashing down.
The injured have been admitted to the G K General Hospital in district headquarters Bhuj,they said,adding that an inquiry has been initiated into the mishap.
