Tainted Local Crime Branch official J J Sarvaiya was sent to three-day judicial remand on Monday. According to Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director J R Tiwari,Sarvaiya would be grilled about the recovery of assets from his possession.
He has several bank accounts. So far,we have recovered around Rs 40 lakh and there are very high chances of recovering more from several bank accounts that Sarvaiya has, added Tiwari.
Sarvaiya would be kept in the Vadodara Central Jail. The ACB had nabbed him last week for taking a bribe of Rs 1.25 lakh.
