Propelled by fall in US peers, India’s 10-year bond yield hits 9-month low
The benchmark 10-year yield was at 7.0093 per cent as of 10:00 a.m. IST, following its previous close at 7.0312 per cent. Earlier in the day, the benchmark yield hit 7.0071 per cent, the lowest level since June 14, 2023.

“The tide has completely turned in favour of bulls and with the 10-year U.S. yield threatening to break 4 per cent, instead of 4.20 per cent, there are strong purchases, with attempts to break the 7 per cent handle for the Indian 10-year bond,” a trader with a primary dealership said.
