After hitting its lowest in the second week of April, gold has started to pick up its price, with 22K gold crossing the ₹9,000 mark for the first time. Today, gold prices have increased significantly by ₹149.90 and ₹164.90 for 24K gold across major Indian cities. While the price hike comes as good news for those who have invested in gold as a financial asset, it puts a strain on those looking to buy gold in the upcoming festive season, especially with Akshaya Tritiya around the corner.
