Diwali Muhurat Trading Timing 2018: The BSE and NSE are to conduct a special ‘Muhurat trading’ session on 7 November 2018, on the occasion of Diwali. The special Diwali Muhurat trading will remain open for one and a half hour between 5.00 pm and 6.30 pm, PTI reported.
On Monday, the market closed with the BSE Sensex losing 61 points and settling below the 35,000 marks. However, the 50-share Nifty index closed with a rise of 6 points, ending up at 10, 530 points.
The market was influenced by positive cues from other Asian markets, supported by Wall Street gains. However, momentum was tempered ahead of the US mid-term elections, the first major electoral test of President Donald Trump’s big tax cuts and hostile trade policies.
The markets will remain closed on Thursday for “Diwali Belipratipada’.
