Samsung Electronics launched two new, premium side-by-side (SBS) refrigerator models – RS554NRUA and RS21HSTWA – to its line-up. Both the models incorporate Samsung’s proprietary twin cooling technology and the digital inverter compressor.

Both refrigerators with their recessed handles, beverage stations and trim-less glass designs provide a touch of elegant minimalism to complement any modern decor.

The RS554NRUA comes with a white shiny river pattern glass exterior and is priced at Rs 88,500 for its 591 litre capacity model. RS21HSTWA,which has a Camellia White Floral pattern design,is priced at Rs77,500 for (600 litre).

The twin cooling system that is integral in both the SBS refrigerators operates two independent fans and evaporators for refrigerator and freezer compartment. These work to maintain higher humidity of up to 43 per cent. Additionally the multi flow feature works with small vents over each shelf to maintain an even temperature throughout the refrigerator.

Simultaneously,Samsung’s digital inverter compressor (DIC) utilises a smart sensor system and five convenient RPM speeds to deliver up to 24 per sent more energy efficiency while significantly reducing noise. The compressor adjusts cooling based on refrigerator use and temperature levels that maximize the freshness of food. In addition,DIC also makes adjustments to its RPM speed thus reducing noise. The DIC is warranted for a period of ten years from the date of purchase.

Other features include bigger vegetable drawers and three tier boxes with humidity control for extra storage space for everything from veggies and fruits to frozen appetizers and desserts.
