Select pulses prices decline on subdued demand

Select pulses softened by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market.

Select pulses softened by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today owing to slackened demand against adequate stocks position.Traders said subdued demand against sufficient supplies mainly kept pressure on wholesale select pulses.

In the national capital,urad and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,550-4,000 and Rs 4,350-4,650,while urad dal best quality and dhoya were down by the same margin to Rs 4,850-5,350 and Rs 5,250-5,350 per quintal,respectively.

Arhar and its dal dara variety also shed Rs 50 each to Rs 4,100-4,300 and Rs 5,700- 5,900 per quintal,respectively.

Gram,gramdal local and best quality also enquired lower by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,700- 5,950,Rs 5,850-5,950 and Rs 6,050-6,150 per quintal,respectively.

The following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:

Urad 3,550-4,000,Urad Chilka (local) 4,350-4,650,best 4,850-5,350,Dhoya 5,250-5,350,Moong 4,750-5,500,Dal Moong Chilka local 5,300-5,700,Moong Dhoya local 5,850-5,950 and best quality 6,550-6,650.

Masoor small 3,550-3,750,bold 3,700-3,900,Dal Masoor local 4,200-4,300,best quality 4,300-4,400,Malka local 4,000-4,100,best 4,200-4,300,Moth 4,400-4,700,Arhar 4,100-4,300,Dal Arhar Dara 5,700-5,900.

Gram 4,700-5,950,Gram Dal (local) 5,850-5,950,best quality 6,050-6,150,Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 2,170,Rajdhani 2,170,Rajmah Chitra 7,000-9,500,Kabli Gram small 5,000-8,500,dabra 2,700-2,800,imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 4,000-4,400,Peas white 2,925-2,950 and green 3,025-3,125.
