Gold Silver Rate Today: The opening price for 999 purity gold was Rs 58,032 per 10 grams, down 364 from Friday's closing price of Rs 58,396, while that of 999 purity silver was Rs 69,404 per kg, down 327 from Rs 69,731, as per the data posted on India Bullion and Jewellers Association's (IBJA) website.
For investors, gold is a safe option during economic and geopolitical stress.

This comes after a strong 3 per cent rally in the previous session as the ongoing Israel-Hamas war prompted investors to resort to bullion and spiked the prices above the key $1,900 ceiling.
The opening price for 999 purity gold was Rs 58,032 per 10 grams, down 364 from Friday’s closing price of Rs 58,396, while that of 999 purity silver was Rs 69,404 per kg, down 327 from Rs 69,731, as per the data posted on India Bullion and Jewellers Association’s (IBJA) website.
For investors, gold is a safe option during economic and geopolitical stress and the price hit its highest since September 20 at $1,934.82 earlier in the session. On Friday, gold price surged 3.4% in its biggest one-day hike in seven months.
