In a move that will affect over 3.9 lakh CNG and PNG consumers in Gujarat, Adani Gas announced an increase in the prices of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and PNG (Piped Natural Gas) on Tuesday. The revised prices will take effect from October 4.
The prices of CNG in Ahmedabad and Vadodara has been increased by Rs 1.85 per kilogram. With this increase, the price for a kilogram of CNG has been increased to Rs 47.80 (inclusive of excise duty and VAT) which will affect approximately 1.5 lakh CNG users, a statement from the company stated here.
Similarly, the retail price of PNG (domestic) in Ahmedabad has been revised from Rs 20.16 per standard cubic meter (SCM) to Rs 21.36 (excluding VAT). The revised prices for 2.4 lakh PNG users will take effect from October 4.
