The company said it has acquired 100 per cent equity stake in Laboratorios Grin.

Drug major Lupin on Thursday acquired Mexico’s Laboratorios Grin, a player in ophthalmic products, for an undisclosed amount, marking its foray into the Latin American country.

The company said it has acquired 100 per cent equity stake in Laboratorios Grin. “The acquisition marks Lupin’s foray into the high growth Mexican and the larger Latin American (LATAM) pharmaceuticals market,” Lupin said in a statement.
