Apple has just made the iMac more affordable with a 21.5-inch version priced at Rs 79,900. Featuring Apple’s trademanrk ultra-thin design the iMac is powered by Intel Core i5 processors and will run OS X Yosemite when it becomes available later this year. The new iMac features a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost Speeds up to 2.7 GHz, Intel HD 5000 graphics, 8GB memory and a 500GB hard drive. All iMac models include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and two Thunderbolt ports and four USB 3.0 ports. There are configure-to-order options available.
Lenovo Yoga 2

Lenovo has launched in India its brand new portfolio of sleek PCs, including the Yoga 2 and Flex 2. The Lenovo Yoga 2 convertible ultrabook has 10-point multi-touch display that flips back 360 degrees to offer four different usage modes. It is priced at Rs 59,990. Lenovo Flex 2 14” is a dual-mode laptop with a touchscreen that flips 300 degrees. It has a backlit keyboard. It is priced at Rs 41,990. The Lenovo G50 is a thin and light laptop with GIGALAN support, combining a slim design and great performance from its AMD processor. It is priced at Rs 22,990. The others are Lenovo Z50 with 15.6” HD display priced at Rs 39,990, and the Lenovo C260 with a 19.5” with touchscreen at Rs 28,490.
It won’t be long before you will see Ultra HD or 4K resolution screens on all types of devices. For now, they are primarily on televisions, and very expensive televisions at that. The first laptop with a 4K screen was launched in India by Toshiba. The best thing about the Toshiba Satellite P50t-B Y3110 is the fact that this high-end laptop, with the 3840×2160 pixel screen comes for Rs 86,000. Toshiba also launched a complete range of laptops from the very affordable L series with prices as low as Rs 25,785 to the top of the range Tecra W50 professional workstation priced over Rs 1,60,000.
LG ULTRA HD TV

LG Electronics as unveiled an entire line up of its Ultra HD and Web OS TVs across a wide range of price points. These TVs are complemented by forward-facing 5.2 multi-channel sound designed with Harman/Kardon. The Ultra HD TV new models are available in different screen sizes of 84, 79, 65, 55, 49, priced between Rs 1.5 to 15 lakh. The new WebOS TVs, have an intuitive Launcher Menu, that gives access to an integrated 3D World, a Web Browser and the LG App Store. This TV has a cinema screen design and an ultra slim profile, with finger gesture control. It is available in 42, 47, 55 and 65 sizes and will be priced between Rs 82,900 and Rs 15 lakh.
