Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das Thursday attended a two-day programme in the national capital, which was held in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to woo global and domestic investors.
Addressing the gathering, Das said, “Since my government assumed power, there has not been a single incidence of industrial conflict. Through highly responsive governance mechanisms, we ensure near-perfect industrial harmony…in Jharkhand, we have replaced red-tapism with red carpet.”
Das also highlighted the state’s tourism potential and informed that 200 acres of land close to state capital Ranchi has been allocated for setting up a film city. At the event, the state government signed an MoU with cement company ACC worth Rs 750 crore, and another with technology firm HP.
