New book documents pandemic through poetry

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has upended our lives like never before. Here, giving some solace to isolated souls and a reality check in verses is a soon-to-come book of poetry.

The book, titled Singing in the Dark is an international anthology of poems which include works by over a hundred poets from across six continents written in 20 languages. Edited by eminent poet K Satchidanandan and scholar-author Nishi Chawla, the book will be released later this year, announced publishing house Penguin Random House.
