After launching the new Ferrari California T convertible in Mumbai, the iconic Italian car manufacturer has launched the supercar in New Delhi priced at Rs. 3.45 crore.
The updated California T has received a revised body design along with other feature list and updated power output.
Under the hood, it is powered by a new turbocharged, V8, 3.9-litre engine that generates 560PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 755 Nm at 4,750 rpm. Mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 315 km/h. At both the ends, Ferrari has equipped the California T with CCM2 carbon-ceramic braking system with new composite discs and pads. The brakes have been integrated with ESP system that controls the ABS system for a shorter braking distance of just 34 metres.
Other highlights of the engine include a flat-plane crankshaft that guarantees exhilarating engine sound, twin-scroll turbines that ensure sharp throttle response and a three-piece cast exhaust manifold, altogether outputs more torque of around 49 per cent. It also features an F1 TRAC system for enhanced stability and traction and carbon ceramic brakes for effective braking. The car also comes with retractable hard top and forced induction that was introduced in the Ferrari F40.
The supercar maker has increased the torque of the convertible by up to 49 per cent, while the fuel consumption has been reduced by 15 per cent.
The exterior of the new convertible has been inspired by the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The front grille, LED automatic headlamps, revised side profile and horizontally placed quad exhaust pipes are some of the noticeable changes.
Just like the exteriors, the interiors of the California T comes loaded with technologies and new advanced features such as a new infotainment system with a 6.5-inch high resolution touchscreen display, a Turbo Performance Engineer (TPE) gauge and Frau semi-aniline leather trim.
The Ferrari California T will be available in New Delhi at the company’s newly inaugurated dealership – Select Cars, which is located at Mathura Road. It is also available at Ferrari’s Mumbai showroom named Navnit Motors.
