Tata launches ‘celebration’ range of cars, festive-season offers

Tata is offering a 'Cash Back Bonanza' scheme under which customers buying a new car from any of the company's showrooms are eligible for a minimum cash back of Rs. 2,000, with a maximum cash back offer of Rs. 50,000.

Tata Motors has joined other car companies in trying to woo new customers to its showrooms by offering discounts and ‘special edition’ variants of its cars. While Tata is offering a cash back of up to 100% to lucky new-car buyers, customers can choose to buy special edition variants of almost any Tata car on sale for a limited period and get additional features for good value.

According to Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, “As we enter the auspicious season, we wish all our customers compliments of the season. Festive season is all about celebrations and we want to partner with our customers to provide them the joy of mobility with the celebration edition range. Designed and developed with state-of-the-art features, this range exemplifies the company’s focus on best-in-class products with a festive touch. We will continue to strive towards offering exciting products as we move ahead and hope to see our brand evolve as a winner in the years to come.”

Tata is offering a ‘Cash Back Bonanza’ scheme till November 2015, under which customers buying a new car from any of the company’s showrooms are eligible for a minimum cash back of Rs. 2,000, with a maximum cash back offer of Rs. 50,000. Lucky customers could also be eligible for 50 per cent or a 100 per cent cash back on their car purchase, more details are available at any Tata dealership.

Tata is also offering special edition variants of the GenX Nano hatchback, Bolt hatchback, Indigo sedan and Safari Storme SUV. The Tata Zest Anniversary Edition variants, launched earlier are also part of the celebration range. The celebration range basically adds cosmetic bits and new features to the aforementioned cars, but provide better value as compared to the same added otherwise. These kits will be available till 15th November 2015.

Tata GenX Nano Celebration Edition (Standard Kit) – Adds a remote control hatch release, Art-leather seat covers, Bumper corner protection, Celebration Edition body graphics, Celebration Edition badge. Pay Rs. 10,500 over the price of the car, is actually worth Rs. 11,500.

Available only on the XMS variant, it costs an extra Rs. 15,000 though the actual cost of all the additions is Rs. 31,000.

Tata Safari Storme Celebration Edition – Adds a Hood scoop, Hood deflector, DRLs, Door visor, Celebration Edition body graphics, Celebration Edition badge, USB port and Portable navigation device. Pay Rs. 34,999 over the price of the SUV, actually worth Rs. 37,500.

Tata Indigo Celebration Edition – Adds Mud flaps, Celebration Edition body graphics, Celebration Edition badge, Driver’s kit, Seat covers, Steering wheel cover and Mats. Pay Rs. 7,000 over the price of the car, actually worth Rs. 11,050.

Tata Indigo Celebration Edition (Premium Kit) – Adds Mud flaps, Celebration Edition body graphics, Celebration Edition badge, Driver’s kit, Audio system, Seat covers, Steering wheel cover and Mats. Pay Rs. 10,000 over the price of the car, actually worth Rs. 16,950.
