Fiat has launched the face-lifted Punto Evo in India with prices ranging between Rs. 4.56 lakh to Rs. 7.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car has been launched with four engine options, two petrol and one diesel engine in two states of tune. The Punto Evo is available in a choice of Active, Dynamic and Emotion trims for petrol and diesel models along with a top-end Sport trim for the more powerful diesel engine.

The face-lifted Fiat Punto has a revised front end with a large chrome lined front grille, new bumper with chrome ringed fog lamp housings, a new air dam, there are also larger new headlamps. The car gets integrated turn indicators in the ORVMs and new alloy wheel design with 16 inch rims for the Sport variant. The rear of the Punto Evo has clear lens tail lamps and a sporty chrome lined lower section that houses the reverse lamp and rear fog lamp.
Inside, the car gets a new dual tone dashboard, new stereo, new seat fabrics, new door pads, and a rear a/c vent.
Equipment aboard the Emotion models include power steering, power windows, electric ORVMs, day/night rear view mirror, climate control, front and rear fog lamps, rear parcel tray, trim computer, average fuel efficiency display, outside temperature display, front power socket, rear defogger and wash wipe, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, leather wrapped steering and gear lever. The double din stereo in the car comes with USB, CD, AUX, radio and Bluetooth compatibility along with steering mounted controls and voice activated controls, and speed sensing volume control.
Engine options in the new Fiat Punto Evo remain the same as the outgoing model with the 1.2 litre petrol engine developing 68PS of power @ 6,000 rpm and 96Nm of torque @ 2,500 rpm. This engine gives the car an ARAI rated fuel efficiency figure of 15.8 km/l. The 1.4 litre engine in the petrol Emotion trim of the Punto Evo develops 90PS of power @ 6,000 rpm and 115Nm of torque @ 4,500 rpm, and offers a fuel economy figure of 14.4 km/l as per ARAI.
The 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine in the Fiat Punto Evo is available with a power output of 76PS of power @ 4,000 rpm and 197Nm of torque @ 1,750 rpm, along with an efficiency figure of 21.2 km/l according to ARAI. The same engine in the Punto Evo Sport develops 93PS of power @ 4,000 rpm and 209Nm of torque torque 2,000 rpm and offers 20.5 km/l fuel efficiency as per ARAI.
The car comes with 3 year / 1,00,000 kilometers warranty that can be extended by another 2 years. Service interval for the Punto Evo is 15,000 kilometers.
