Fiat has announced special summer checkup camps for its cars in India. The campaign will be running in 98 cities through authorized dealerships across the country.
Starting from Thursday, May 7, the event will be a three-day activity which will come to an end on May 9, 2015. Service camps like these are organized time and again by almost all of the manufacturers as part of their customer engagement activities.
Most of the check up campaigns are run before the start of a new season or on special occasions. Campaigns like summer, winter and monsoon check ups are more beneficial than others since driving conditions vary for different weather conditions.
Inspecting a vehicle for any possible malfunction later on then becomes a necessary step towards ensuring maximum safety. During the summer checkup camps, Fiat will provide an extensive 60 point free checkup on all the Fiat branded cars reporting in authorized workshops.
A free top-wash, discounts of 10 per cent on labour charges and spare parts for mechanical repairs and free AC disinfectant treatment will also be offered to the customers.
Additionally, the company will also offer discount benefit of Rs. 525 on reverse parking sensor for the Linea sedan and the Punto hatchback. Speaking about the initiative, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FIAT Chrysler (FCA) India Operations said: “The upcoming summer checkup camp by FCA India is a step towards our efforts to enhance customer engagement. FCA remains committed to provide the Indian market with world-class after sales service through their network of workshops across the country.
We have seen a very positive response to all the checkup camps in the past. FCA’s summer checkup camp is a promising way to connect with our existing customer base and conduct the preventive check for them to let them know that FCA highly cares about their safety.”
Fiat dealership executives will be contacting existing customers through text messages and e-mails to inform them about the camps and offers.
