New Delhi, Jan 20 (ANI): The 'Award Wapsi' trend returned with writer Ashok Vajpeyi deciding to return his D. Litt honour conferred on him by the Hyderabad University as a mark of protest against the university's attitude towards the Dalit scholar's suicide. Vajpeyi added that under present circumstances, he doesn’t think he can associate with the Hyderabad University. Earlier, he had returned the Sahitya Akademi Award to protest the murder of renowned writer M.M. Kalburgi.
