Vivek Shejwalkar biography

Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar is a political leader from Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior constituency.

He was born in the Bombay Presidency on June 13, 1947, and is the son of former MP Late Narain Krishna Rao Shejwalkar. He completed his electrical engineering bachelor's degree at Madhav University Gwalior and Jiwaji University.

He started his political career as the Mayor of Gwalior before submitting his resignation to contest the Lok Sabha elections. He ran the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from the Gwalior seat on BJP’s ticket and came out victorious by a significant margin of over one lakh votes.

His foray into politics represents a turning point in his life. He has become a well-known political figure, gaining praise for his ability to lead and commitment to public service. His ascent to fame demonstrates a combination of strategic intelligence and local ties.
