Unmesh Patil biography
Unmesh Patil, also known as Unmesh Bhaiyyasaheb Patil, is a political leader from Maharastra and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Maharastra’s Jalgaon Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on June 14, 1978, and holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Master's in E-commerce Management from Mumbai.
His political career includes serving as the Chairman of the Maharashtra State Co-operative Sugar Factories Federation Ltd from 2015 to 2019. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, from Jalgaon, Maharashtra, in the 2019 Indian general election. He has also served as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 2014 to 2019, representing the Chalisgaon Assembly Constituency.
He found himself surrounded by controversy when, in 2020, the then Home Minister of Maharastra, Anil Deshmukh, ordered a probe against him in an alleged physical assault on a retired army official.
