Arrested Development was an instant hit with the awards circuit but not so much with the ratings. The show was quite self-aware in its nature so they mocked their unsure place at the network quite often but through it all, they never faced bad episodes, at least during their original run.
Two and a Half Men was a hilarious sitcom until the off-camera battles took centerstage and the show had to bid adieu to Charlie Sheen. But for those initial seasons, when Charlie Harper was funny and Jake was still a baby, the show had its best run.
The Good Wife ran for seven seasons and was nominated for 43 Primetime Emmy Awards. There have been many legal dramas since but The Good Wife still remains one of the most well-received shows, thanks to its engaging plot and stellar cast.
