Suggesting action against overground workers, the senior Army commander said "not only terrorists, overground workers need to be equally targeted. These two factors, if we are able to address will slowly come down the level of violence.
"Talks at this time with a rogue state will only lower the morale of Indian security agencies who have been fighting to contain militant activities and maintain peace," BJP's chief spokesperson in the state, Sunil Sethi said.
All three terrorists killed were wearing military fatigues and were heavily armed. AK-56 assault rifles, under barrel grenade launchers, ammunition and grenades have been recovered from them, the Army said.
