With impressive performances for Kolkata Knight Riders in Indian Premier League, Sunil Narine has become a household name in India. The right-arm off-spinner, who has played 82 matches in the tournament, in which he has taken 95 wickets at an average of 21.38, has garnered reputation as one of the most economical bowlers in the tournament. After 10 seasons, he has an impressive economy of 6.33. Narine, who was adjudged as the 'player of the tournament' in IPL 2012 which was won by KKR, grabbed the spotlight when he took 10 wickets in a trial match. he later became a part of West Indies U-19 team. He failed to impress in regional cricket, but proved to be effective in Champions Trophy 2011. In 65 ODIs, he has taken 92 wickets at an economy of 4.13 and an average of 26.47. He has a tremendous record in T20I as he hastaken 50 wickets in 48 T20Is at an average of 20.68.
