Siddaramaiah

K. Siddaramaiah is the present Chief Minister of Karanataka and is a leader of the Indian National Congress party. He was sworn in as the Chief Minister in 2013. He has an educational background in law and was a junior under a lawyer in Mysore for a while before joining politics. He started his political career in 1978. Initially he was part of the Janata Dal party before joining the Congress.
